Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

Orders can only be canceled before they are processed. Once processing begins, cancellations are no longer possible. Please contact us quickly if you need to cancel.

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes, you can use our guest checkout option to place an order without creating an account.

Is there a minimum order value to place an order?

There is no minimum order to place an order. However, we offer free delivery on order value of $100 and above.

Can I reorder my previous orders easily?

Yes, if you have an account, you can view and reorder from your previous order history with just a few clicks.

Can I order from multiple suppliers at the same time?

Yes, you can. Simply add products from different suppliers to your cart, and we’ll handle pickup from each one and deliver everything together in one delivery.

Will I receive a confirmation email or receipt after ordering?

Yes, a confirmation email with your order details and receipt will be sent to you after your purchase is complete.

What happens if my order cannot be fulfilled by the supplier?

If an item isn’t available, we’ll check with you first for possible alternatives. This could mean a similar cut, a different brand, or a slight variation. If you prefer no changes, we’ll refund or issue store credit—your choice.

Can I place a scheduled order for a future date?

At this time, we only offer same-day and next-day delivery. For later dates, select next-day at checkout and email us your preferred date—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What payment methods are accepted for placing an order?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex (via Stripe), e-transfer, and cash on delivery. A $4 fee applies for cash orders. If you prefer, you can also pay by e-transfer at delivery to wedohalal@gmail.com

Returns:

Can I return items if they are damaged or incorrect?

Yes, but you must contact us within one hour of delivery. If the issue is due to the supplier, we’ll coordinate with both you and the supplier to make it right.

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

All orders are final. Due to the nature of our products, cancellations or returns are not allowed once an order is placed.

What should I do if I received the wrong item?

Contact us by phone or email within one hour of delivery. Most suppliers require quick notification, so we can act fast to resolve the issue.

What is the return window for reporting issues?

Any issues must be reported within one hour of delivery to qualify for a return, refund, or store credit.

Can I return fresh or frozen meat if I change my mind?

Due to food safety concerns, we cannot accept returns for perishable items based on change of mind. Please review your order before placing it.

Packaging:

What type of containers or insulation is used for frozen items?

Items are packed as per supplier standards, following Edmonton’s food safety rules. We place everything in standard boxes or bags. In winter, the weather keeps items cold. In summer, we use Coleman coolers to maintain safe temperatures during transport.

Is there any labeling on the packaging (cut, type, etc.)?

Labels are provided by the supplier based on Edmonton's food packaging standards. Some list cut, weight, and price; others may use stickers or markers. We deliver the items as packed by the supplier.

Will my meat be packaged by supplier or by WeDoHalal?

All meat is packaged directly by our trusted halal suppliers to ensure freshness and authenticity.

Do you use ice packs for temperature-sensitive items?

For Edmonton and nearby areas, we don’t use ice packs in winter, and use Coleman coolers in summer. For custom orders outside Edmonton, we use ice packs and ship via FedEx, UPS, or similar—just email us to arrange.

Is the meat packaged in portion sizes or bulk?

You can order as little or as much as you like. Prices are per pound or per pack, and you can add more using the plus sign. Minimum order sizes (like 2–3 lbs) are shown where applicable.

What meat types are currently available on the site?

We offer halal beef, chicken, lamb, goat, fish, and turkey. Bison and deer meat are coming soon. We also carry ethnic store items, ready-to-eat foods, and specialty products—explore the site to see more.

Are all your products halal-certified?

Yes, every product listed on our website is 100% halal-certified and sourced from trusted suppliers.

Are the meat products fresh, frozen, or both?

We deliver both fresh and frozen meat options, clearly labeled on each product listing.

How often are new products added to the website?

New products are added regularly as we expand our supplier network and product variety.

Do you offer any ready-to-cook or marinated items?

Yes, we carry a selection of marinated meats and ready-to-cook items for added convenience.

Are products sourced locally or internationally?

Most meats are sourced from local halal stores in Edmonton. Some items, like lamb, may come from international sources such as New Zealand or Australia.

What payment methods are accepted on the website?

Are there any additional fees or charges added to the total price during checkout?

No, the total price at checkout includes all applicable charges. We strive for full pricing transparency.

Is my payment information secure on the website?

Yes, all online payments are processed securely through Stripe with industry-standard encryption. We do not store card details.

Can I pay with cash or e-transfer at the time of delivery?

Yes, you can pay with cash at delivery for a $4 fee. If you prefer, you can also e-transfer at the time of delivery to wedohalal@gmail.com as a cash alternative.

How is the payment processed if the order is adjusted later?

Meat weights can slightly vary from what you order. We aim to pick a bit less, so you usually get a refund for the difference via e-transfer or store credit. If only a larger cut is available, we’ll contact you first for approval. Once confirmed, we’ll send you a revised invoice and collect the balance via e-transfer.

What is the estimated delivery time for my order?

We offer same-day and next-day delivery based on your location and the time of your order.

What happens if I'm not available to receive my delivery?

We call before delivering, usually between 7–9 PM MT. If you're not available, let us know right after ordering. Once processed, it's a final sale. We may still coordinate over the phone case-by-case if needed.

What areas do you currently deliver to?

We deliver across Edmonton and surrounding areas including Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Beaumont, Leduc, and more. If you're within 30 minutes of Edmonton's perimeter and generally considered part of the surrounding areas, we'll try our best to accommodate.

Is same-day delivery always available?

Yes, if the product is in stock and you order before 6PM MT, same-day delivery is usually available. Exceptions include bad weather or early store closures, but generally we can deliver same day.

Are there any delivery charges for my order?

Orders of $100 or more get free delivery. Below that, it’s $4.99 for next-day and $9.99 for same-day delivery. Charges are shown at checkout.

Can I request contactless delivery?

Yes, you can add delivery instructions at checkout for contactless delivery. Our drivers will follow your preferences.

Do you deliver on weekends and holidays?

Yes, we deliver seven days a week, including most holidays, to ensure convenience for your schedule.
