1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using WeDoHalal.com (“the Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, all applicable laws, and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not use this Website or our services.

2. Our Role

  • WeDoHalal is a delivery facilitator, not a producer, stockist, or owner of the products listed on our Website.

  • All products are owned and supplied by independent halal stores.

  • Our role is to provide an online ordering platform and delivery service, connecting customers with halal suppliers across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

3. Orders & Deliveries

  • We currently deliver in Edmonton and surrounding areas (Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Spruce Grove, Fort Saskatchewan, Beaumont, Devon, Leduc, Nisku, Morinville, Stony Plain, Legal, Bon Accord, Calmar, Thorsby, Redwater, Gibbons).

  • Minimum order value for free delivery is $100. Orders below this may be subject to delivery charges.

  • Same-day and next-day delivery mean that orders will be delivered sometime that day, subject to cutoff times, weather, traffic, and supplier availability.

  • Delays may occur. In rare cases, we may cancel an order; customers will be notified and offered a full refund.

  • If no one is available at delivery, we may leave the order at the door at the customer’s risk.

  • Customers must provide a safe delivery location. If conditions are unsafe (e.g., loose dogs, blocked entrances, dangerous areas), drivers may refuse delivery. Rescheduling will be the customer’s responsibility.

4. Pricing & Products

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). GST is not included in displayed prices; however, most meat products are GST-exempt.

  • Prices may change at any time without notice and may differ from in-store supplier prices.

  • Product images and descriptions are for reference only. Packaging, labeling, or minor details may differ depending on suppliers. WeDoHalal does not post misleading photos.

5. Payments

  • Accepted payment methods: Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex), e-transfer (to wedohalal.com), and cash on delivery.

  • Orders must be fully paid before delivery, except for cash or e-transfer on delivery, which must be completed at the time of delivery.

  • We reserve the right to cancel or withhold deliveries for unpaid orders.

6. Refunds & Returns

  • Due to the perishable nature of meat, returns are only accepted if issues are reported within one (1) hour of delivery.

  • Customers must inspect orders immediately upon receipt.

  • Eligible refund/credit cases:

  • Wrong items delivered

  • Damaged items at the time of delivery

  • Supplier unavailability (in which case we may issue a refund or store credit at the customer’s choice)

  • Refunds will not be given for:

  • Change of mind

  • Reports made after one (1) hour of delivery

  • Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method or as store credit.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate delivery details, contact information, and clear instructions.

  • Ensure delivery can be completed safely and without risk to drivers.

  • Take responsibility for safe handling, storage, and cooking of meat once delivered.

8. Supplier Role & Liability

  • All products are supplied by independent halal suppliers, who are solely responsible for their product quality and halal certification.

  • WeDoHalal does not manufacture, produce, or certify the products.

  • Customers can view supplier details for transparency and may choose preferred suppliers.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • WeDoHalal is not liable for:

  • Supplier product quality, freshness, or halal compliance

  • Allergic reactions, dietary restrictions, or cooking/handling of products after delivery

  • Losses caused by delivery delays, weather, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Our liability, if any, is limited to the value of the order placed.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • We aim to resolve disputes informally through customer service.

  • If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Edmonton, Alberta.

11. Modifications

WeDoHalal reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. Continued use of the Website or our services indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
